Aprox 17" long this model of Borrominis Palazzo Spada in Rome is made in solid maple and maple veneers. All the mouldings taper, each row of columns shrinks as it recedes from the facade. The forced perspective illusion is revealed by looking at a photo of the side view of the work in progress.
